We enjoyed our four-night stay in a lovely Queen Room with some nice freebies like bath salts and tea. The rooftop terrace was a great spot to unwind, and the sun terrace by the pool was super relaxing too. We did notice a bit of smoke smell from the nearby area, but it didn’t ruin our time—definitely try the breakfast, it’s delicious! 😊

I experienced a terrible bed rash every morning, which made my stay very uncomfortable. The cleanliness of the bed and carpet seemed questionable, causing a lot of distress. Additionally, there was no room cleaning during my entire 3-night stay, which further added to my disappointment.

Recommendation for a family with children
The beds were like clouds,, so comfortable. The staff really went outta their way to help us when we needed to find a place to eat late at night.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain,, but it was fine.

Feasted on some serious local eats, with Takagi Coffee just a hop away and Shunsai Tempura Arima serving up heavenly bites nearby. Plus, the Queen Room was spacious and super clean, making our stay feel like a cozy escape. Can't forget the great location, just a stroll to the lively streets of Kyoto!
The only downside? It was a teeny bit of a trek to the main area—about a 15 min walk—but honestly, it was a pleasant stroll to soak in local vibes.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the metro and markets. The staff was incredibly helpful, making our stay smooth. We enjoyed exploring the amazing temples and grabbing snacks at Nishiki Market. Plus, the laundry facilities were super convenient for us. Definitely a solid choice for a group getaway.
However, our room was a bit dusty, which surprised us. We had to wipe down surfaces because it wasn't up to hotel standards.

The location offers easy access to explore the area, with a large en-suite bathroom and a comfortable bed in the spacious twin room. The presence of laundry facilities was incredibly useful, making our stay convenient. Enjoyed tasty wood-fired pizza at the restaurant too. However, the subway station was a bit of a trek, and public transportation options were limited, which could be a hassle at times.

Hidden gem near the market
Woke up to a delightful breakfast buffet each morning, with friendly staff who genuinely made us feel welcomed. The room was impeccably clean and a perfect retreat after exploring.
However, the window only opened slightly, limiting our ability to truly enjoy the lovely view. It felt a bit confined, which was disappointing given our expectations.

The room was pretty decent. We had a Hollywood Twin setup that made a huge bed, super comfy! It's clean and modern, and the bathroom was alright for Japan standards. But the first floor location was kind of dark and noisy, like a basement vibe. Luckily, the staff helped us move to a higher floor which was way better! Overall, a solid spot.
